I'm putting the car (66 Coronet) back together and my existing seals are shot. These rubber seals slide over the pillar trim speed nut posts on the trim pieces. I've searched to no avail and may be forced to use some butyl in their place. Any ideas?

Look up 3M rope caulk. It's thin and comes in strips. Break off a piece and form it into the nut. I've used this before on '70 applications, for the "PLYMOUTH" lettering, etc.

If your looking for a sealer to go around a stud as found on body clips or other trim pieces, ask for "mastic sealer" and used with some Pal or barrel nuts. It comes in a variety of thickness and diameters. If I had known, I could have sent you some with the other clips that I sent out to you Snook.
