What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

That's a lot to mow.
It was a great idea when I was 30 !!

Took my son to the Northeast Regional Sporting Clays tournament this weekend. He placed 7th in the main and 1st in the 5 stand to bring home a little prize money. Great weekend. (We won’t talk about how I did)

Beautiful place.
Maybe get one of those robot mowers.

I looked at those, need 5 of the Husquavarna ones at $4.5KCdn each just to do the runway. I can see them being the next high theft item..

You can get a lot of goats for that kinda money.

helped my dad find a new tractor it will be delivered today, old one hydraulics went and he decided that it was not worth the money or effort

Finished grouting kitchen floor tile in my rental duplex. Edge-trimmed the transition from tile to hardwood. Wiped down the grout to let it dry overnight, shut down the apartment, headed home...got a call from my downstairs tenant. "We have a problem...there's water coming through my kitchen ceiling".

The kitchen I'm working on is above hers (an over/under duplex).

I guess later this week I get to cut open her ceiling and wall to find out what's leaking - hot/cold feed over the ceiling? Or the drain (which is in the wall, but depending where it's leaking it could be migrating above the drywall towards the center of the room).

Fun.

The joys of a 1951 building, and an apartment that's been vacant and unused for the last...decade or so, at least. I bought it as a foreclosure, and have no idea how long it was empty before I got it.

Ran a water line up to my screened in porch so I could hose it off. Cleaned the screen porch, carpeted one side of my garage for my car to sit on and watched these guys sod my new yard after they installed the sprinkler system. Tomorrow I hang the new sun shades we got for the screen porch. I took this picture while I was walking our dog around the pond behind my house. Looks better now that It has grass.

Printed out my 66 page tax return, loaded it into a 2 day priority large cardboard envelope, and took it to the post office after three attempts to e-file got rejected. I initially filed a week before the deadline but (stupid me) didn't check the status until yesterday.

What are the odds that the first time in 5 years that we need to pay in, the form gets rejected and can't be rectified?

I bought this one last week. 61" cut and you can mow at 10 mph. coil over suspension front and rear + torsion bars in the front and a seat that has shocks in it and a setting adjustment for your exact weight. A real pleasure to use.

Welded the brackets for a 250 gallon water tank on a cement mixer to replace the smaller tank mounted on the truck rails
fabricating a bracket to relocate the hydraulic cooler for the mixer motor
This is the second mixer we are retrofitting so it went really well today but at 69 im tired and sore all over LOL

Replaced a heated towel rail for a client yesterday. Originally installed by a specialist bathroom company (I rewired the remainder of the flat), this unit has lasted 10 years....warranteed for 5. Luckily the same model was still available....so I left the mounting feet on the wall. Had to clean up the other Sparkies dodgy connections.

:xscuseless:
