I am actually a member of FABO, FBBO, The Trucks forum, FMJ, Yellow Bullet, Phantom Bullet, DodgeCharger.com, Ram Forums, Challenger Talk and maybe a few others. I use the same screen name everywhere. The range of personalities of the members of each forum is an interesting thing. An observant person can get a feel for the prevailing tone at each forum. Each are a little bit different. Some are unmoderated and the content really varies in the range of responses you see on the topics covered. I was permanently banned from one forum with zero warning, the site owner even bombed my email with sites soliciting money for Religious charities that I'd never click on. There were no rules posted anywhere about "don't discuss Covid protocols" yet I had hundreds of posts, several ongoing build threads going when Covid hit and slowed everyone down, I commented about it and he locked me out.
Most of my spankings that I got were legitimate responses by the staff, incidents from other sites were an overreach. The two sites I despise are the ones that refuse to admit that they have bullied their members and have LOST traffic and market share as a result of continued poor moderation.

First off, I can't remember the last time I was offended but did get pretty pissed off when a member here told me to F you and F my wife AND my kids and more. If that 'member' had said that to me in person, he would have had a broken jaw. I kinda did provoke him 'accidentally' so couldn't do much but if this was my site, he'd be gone for good. It takes a really rotten person (imo) to say stuff like that.
Thing is, this site isn't a locker room or a construction site etc....it belongs to someone and that person doesn't want that kind of stuff on it. Think about someone coming to visit you in your home and saying stuff that you didn't care to hear.....would you care to hear someone insulting your wife?? Oh yeah, Yellow Bullet used to be 'anything' goes pretty much. Is it still that way? Been awhile since 'visiting' that place and it was pretty bad.
Freedom of speech....we hear that a lot but that won't hold up on a site like this. Like I mentioned above, how much would you stand if someone came into your home or even your yard and started shouting the F word at you or your family? I'm not saying that's what Grey did but it goes along the same lines.
Well, someone did complain but it was within reason because of what was said shouldn't have been said.That is very true. While I am not privy to the reason(s) why the Kerster got a time out, I can only guess that whomever it was that complained about his ball bustin must be thin-skinned, whiny, dildo, puss of a man. Whoever that was is the real person who deserves a time out rather than such a well known valuable contributor to this site.

Whatever the reason - what was said must have been pretty raw because I’ve taken on a few members here and was pretty fired up with what I laid on them at the time - and wasn’t given a spanking. I did get it once or twice for very short periods. I don’t take offense as it seems we’re give pretty fair latitude …. And I’m also a little quicker at putting those irritants on ignore now. I don’t want to get fired up it’s not good for the heart ….. but it can be fun sometimes…

My most recent transgression was more of a matter of me making what I thought was a clever insult, getting called on it then me taking it further.
It was my own arrogance that escalated the matter. I thought what I posted was funny and insulting but I didn't consider that the guy on the receiving end wouldn't find it as funny as I did. It was bad judgement. I sent him a PM to apologize, he was nice enough to consider it. We are on good terms again.
