Thanks, but this isn't a Canadian car and it's a 440, not a "Polara" per say, just a lesser trim 440 model. Found a PA inspection sticker in the car... and build sheet..

You bet, I understand.
I did enjoy digging up the answers though.
Enjoy your 64!

I saw it about 3 minutes after it was listed, I bought it about 2 hours later and now I own it. That's about all I've got other than I found a PA inspection sticker in the glove box. Also have most of the build sheet and owners manual.

That Broadcast/Build Sheet was probably taped over the glove box. The tape is placed exactly like previous ones I have found.

Yes all my cars had the spare tire over the hump. Don't think that any of mine were Canadian cars and a few had the full size trunk side panels including my 64 Belvedere 4-dr which has kind a funny story. I took my driving test back in 1976 in a friend's 64 Belvedere 4-dr /6 3 on the tree. I found it some 30 years later in a local yard and bought it. Was a parts car by then. Most of my cars were mostly original cars that had been sitting for years or decades.

Yep, it's Black for a reason.. nobody has any good ones. I'll have to have a good look at the back side to see if it's even a candidate for rechrome and if so I have a place @ $1400 or more...
a 1965 coronet uses the same rear bumper as a 64 dodge, thats what i have on mine. found one on facebook marketplace was rechromed never installed for $450.00 shipped to my house from ohio.

My 63 Belvedere had a body color trunk.
Have a 64 330 4-dr in the yard now and has speckle paint.
Here are the original covers too. Not Tee shaped like I was thinking.

My 63 Fury has a body color trunk, both of my 64s and both of my 65s have gray/white trunk paint. All were originals except the 63 had a color change. Here are the original filler panels from my 65.

Those filler panels could be easily fabbed with luan or some thin hardboard and a short piece of 2x2 and some glue. Or any thin somewhat rigid material, plastic? I could send you a pattern if you’d want to fab your own. The trunk mat covers them, so you don’t see them. Those side pieces in RemCharger’s pictures were being reproduced, maybe still are. I suspect that they came in the higher end cars or maybe an option. I’ve never seen them in a car, I’d guess they warped easily and probably were just tossed out. My 63 Fury had a set with it when I got the car, but they were pretty mangled. Maybe that’s the difference in the painted and speckled trunks, painted trunks came with cardboard liners?

Masonite would be a good option if all you have is flat pieces to make.

Real nice to see you working on a 64 440 Dodge dadsbee! Will keep an eye on your progress.

Amazed this thing still has the starter splash shield on it after 57 years.

Front disc brakes, I believe are from a 73/76 A body car. Bonus.... other than the crust.

Found in the car glove box.

1968 Pennsylvania inspection sticker

Rear leaf spring front mount extensions with multiple mounting holes. Super Stock leaf springs P369054 passengers side (8 leafs) and P369055 drivers side (6 leafs).

Rear trunk lock "emblem" is a tad beat... need to find a better one.

Neat how it works and hides the key hole.

Spare set of heater control and transmission control buttons in the trunk. Only missing the neutral button.

Spare radio bezel.. score

Three spare headlight surrounds, two beat up headlight eyebrows and four original hub caps.

New roof rail seals (top of window to roof) ordered and paid for by the guy I bought the car from. Better his $155 than mine

Fender nose medallions have seen better days.

Passenger side is a bit better, but you still can't really see it. PITA to try and get the retainer nut as well. Gonna need someones skinny arm and a 7/16 deep socket. Might be able to get them with 2' of extensions.

What they're supposed to look like. Ordered, $175US for the pair. Down to a few sets left from the supplier and Jim figures they'll never be reproduced again!

Reverse lights don't work, may as well get rid of 57 years of road dust.
1964dodge440cleanup 045.JPG

Both cleaned up like they're brand new.
1964dodge440cleanup 044.JPG

Two out of 4 tail light lenses are crazed/cracked. Four new ones on order for $150US.

Amazing this thing even has the correct 1964 radiator in it.

That 64 was a real good score. How’s the windshield cowl on it.

Haven't dug too far into it, but it looks pretty solid. Bit of rust on the hole around the wiper pivots that I noticed, after I noticed the washer squirters and hose were missing.. lol

All good stuff!!
That's sh***y that they're not making the front peak emblems anymore.. :(

I saw that VANS has them as well as Detroit, so there's still some out there. Jim just doesn't figure they'll be reproduced again once they're gone..

I wonder how it would be to access them with the headlight/bucket removed?
