440 engine I found

Updates. A steel forged crank for a 4 speed transmission and I have a 1967 a833 to match it. Trouble is I don’t have the bell housing. We need someone to make a wrench that has six holes that can be bolted to the flex plate bolts holes on the crank to beable to have more power to rotate a stuck engine.

So now I’ve wd40’d the entire inside. What I need is a u bolt with threaded hole ends with a sort exhaust stud that comes in the package screws into each side u bolt and screws into the rod ends so I can hit it with a rubber hammer not hurting the sleeve where the bearings go if plan a doesn’t work. That’s a good plan b because the crank is stuck I will have to begin rod and piston removal to loosen the binder forces. But first before anything camshaft and timing chain and timing gear assembly removal.

My dads antique snap on at work still to this day lol but still won’t turn over so I depressurized the mains and put more wd40 going to wait until tomorrow to see if it turns over if not well I’ll go from there.

thanks for the lesson.

Updates blasted the heads because I believe when they re sent off to the machine shop for new valves and springs it will be hot tank. I can’t blast the motor thou because of the water jacket and sensitive metal areas. Got the heads date codes.

Shop is a mess. But here’s more pictures. It’s a A stamp meaning .20 over bore from factory what I read.

Rods are intacted. So the mystery I’ve gather is the thrust main bearing spun put the motor out of time leading to bent push rods so that’s what I think made this thing be pulled from the car. The crank has to go be rounded.

I have to get new honing blades and mark each cylinder with a micrometer I can’t figure it out with precision without honing the cylinders.

Tomorrow I’m going to clean it up very nicely with the four barrel and paint it turquoise and put it in the house for now.

Mopar gods are pushing back the negativity in the house I believe haha with all these car parts haha.

I have clean up to see if they re matching date code 915s. So far better than expected my luck you know. will need to be bored I’m pretty sure. Non hp stamp 915 heads found that out. The block is not stamped hp. I have to get the vin code of the back also for y’all.

Yeah those look like the smaller exhaust valve heads but still closed chamber.
Just have the machinist put in the bigger valves and hardened seats when you have them rebuilt.
As far as matching date code, if they are within a couple 3 months of each other they probably are a matching set.
