66 in the shop ....

il just start it here .... she is in the shop .... and it ain't good. engine is an easy fix ..... the rear not so much. super thick pain and shoty body work. but at least all the pep boys molding on it is gonegood part is the doors and fenders look good .... will post as i go. can't do much till the truck in the next bay is dun. it should be done next week

paint is so thick that it cracked and water got under it .... now i have this

Looks like its been painted a lot of times i used aircraft stripper on my car to get it back down to bare metal little bit of elbow grease

thats the strange part .... its not mud ... its paint i have never seen that much paint on anything in my life ....

Looks like 5 paint jobs if you count the original, dang.
You may want to consider getting that one blasted. Were the jambs , under hood, ect painted each time also ?

jams look like thay only got the last one .... looks like the underhood just got the black rattle can. il post more pics this week .. but it don't seem to have a lot of mud. ... but we just getting started tho .....

ain't done **** to her .... the green truck should be done this week so then we can get it moved over to the strip down stall ...... stay tooned.

no work on the body of late .. so working on getting the running gears going ..... got a 413 and a 68 383 with all the brackest and trans for the bb swap .... turns out the 318 (ha) was stroked and zero decked .. guessing for some local track rules for whatever it was in before sally. il save it for a dart. i just want her home .... hate this part of a project. .. can't wait to start the put back together part.
