We dismantled the wife's garden this weekend. Had all my toys outside at once and just had to take a couple of pics. My wife gives me a hard time about them, but keeps her mouth shut when they are helping her out, how does that make sense? 1953 Golden Jubilee just finished up a motor rebuild and new rear tires, 1956 640 I bought this past winter knowing the 53 wouldn't be ready for spring, and my Massey I bought new a couple years ago. Got a tiller for that last year and a stump grinder this summer. Planned on selling the grinder after doing the 12 stumps I had, but now I keep finding more that need removing....

I had a 45 Ford...... 9n?, maybe a 2n?...... it was cool, but this was 25 years ago

1945 would have been a 2N.

Pop had a Gravely when I was little, the thing fascinated me...... I'd like to stumble across an early one

Just had a tractor parade yesterday with over 130 tractors

I'll start a new thread with more info.

If you like this type of thing you should come to the Thresheree in July's in WI.

Most here have at least heard of Iola.
Turns out a few miles up the road in Symco we have this event, and a couple weekends later a GIANT hot rod show at the Union Thresher grounds.
I live like 10 minutes away, and to be honest, it wasn't until maybe the last ten years I fully understood how lucky I am to have this stuff of this magnitude in my backyard.

Symco features a different manufacturer every year. The tractor pull on Saturday is an all day event, and is designed to encourage stock tractors with a year built limit and a speed limit on the pulls. Goes by weight class, light ones pull early, 10,000+ is last. Pretty fun seeing someone weight up a JD A to over 10k lbs and let it chug in low gear lol.
We had an old fellow in this OLD Allis Chalmers a couple years back hook up. It was a 4 cylander engine, but it had to have a block about 3 feet tall(talk about stroke lol) not even sure without google investigation what model it was, probably from pre ww2, likely 1930's.
I am not even kidding when I say you could have used the second hand on your watch to count the cylanders fireing when it lugged down all the way, it would NOT die, finally broke the wheels loose so they flagged him but people lost their minds yelling and cheering.
i don't mind the newer style high speed mega power pulling once in a while, but I grew up with IH H's and JD 50's and such so I have a soft spot for stockers from that era getting some work in.

I like old tractors.....and I know a guy who loves his even more. Even at 90 years old, he loves acting like a teenager....

We're having another visit to Lloyds home at the end of October....probably for the last time.

Could have been a 2n. Two years only, 45-46 or 46-47. Had one for my dad to work his garden behind my house, and clear snow from my 300’ drive, about 30 years ago. Heck, it was only about 500 bucks to rebuild the engine. No major work needed, just honed the cylinders, new rings, pistons, bearings, seals and gaskets. Painted it, red and gray, just for the look, better than just the drab gray. Did it in my garage, easy and it ran like a little singer sewing machine. Sold it for double what was in it about 6 years later to my dad’s friend.

Kind of Minneapolis-Moline family here. Grandpa’s 4-Star, other Grandpa’s M-670, Dads G-1000 Vista, G-1000 row crop, uncle Jacks U-302, and uncle Don had a Silver King is the only grey duck, that was I believe Great grandpa’s

Very Kool. My uncle sold Mineapolis is the 60s. We still have the U302 he sold to my grandpa new and two G1000 Vistas and A G1355 we farmed with.

You have some classics, and a handy little loader tractor. Grandpa bought a Fergeson TO-20 new in early 50s. Dad drove it to country school..it's tucked in the barn.

Id love to have a G-1355. Very awsome tractor. I consider it a Minneapolis-Oliver though.

I have 3 Deere’s. Behind the unstyled A is a old Van Brunt grain drill. It has wooden wheels with the iron band. I am not sure of the age. The unstyled A is a 38, the styled A is 49 and the 830 is a 57. I need to start the rebuild on the 830.

Yep, back half has green paint under the yellow on some parts, our G1355 is a rare propane with a cab. We also have a white 2-150 which is the same tractor with a different cab and hood.

The Neatest Mineapolis Moline we have is a A4T 1600 four wheel drive. It was the Nebraska tractor test tractor. After it was tested my cousin bought it new and we acquired from him. It still has the test number 1070 on the hood. We have to put a engine in it...some time!
We also have about 50 other tractors...so yes I like tractors!

This was cool at the Farm show this week! 700hp Big bud prototype...Caterpillar powered. It wasn't finished...didn't have a radiator but they still brought it to display.
