    I left off State Farm, Farmers, Allstate and all the other non-classic auto insurance companies. If you read the article I linked or maybe others on the net you may see who State Farm uses to insure classic cars.

      Amazingly, after my episode at failing to avoid the garage with the GTX, my rate did not go up despite a fairly decent claim amount (Hagerty).

        I was told by my agent that only one company writes policies for cars stored under a carport (i.e. not in a locked garage). IIRC, it is Hagerty.

        Grundy, very easy to deal with. In California Hagerty is 2x the cost, I am stunned they are still in business.

        State Farm can kiss my ass. I'll never do business with them.
        May be hard to believe, but CA isn't the only place on the planet....:)
