Below is my friend Charlie's 70 RR. As clean and factory parts/markings correct as I have ever seen.

This BAD ASSED van has a mid-engine 440 and runs consistent numbers at the 1320, but I just found out my friend is selling it. He has a physical handicap and running it at the track and everything that goes along with that without consistant help has made it too much for him to handle.

Below B-body not my favorite year(s) style unless they are tubbed with really wide tires under the rear quarters. Then they don't look so fat across the rear and out of proportion. Apologies to those who like the look. This one was especially clean, and isn't the one 73_HEMI_GTX_RR owns, so...:poke:

My baby..If you look through the windshield, you can see her new Scat Procar bucket seats! Safe, comfortable in a secure way, compatible with a 5 point harness, and they look GREAT.

He wasn't there this year like he has been for 20 years, the reason given was "to attend to matters close to his home" but he will be back next year.
I met him in person a couple of years ago as he walked through the grounds of Cruise Central. I got the total cold shoulder and I was dismissed like a leper clutching at the robes of the king begging for alms or stale bread....
The only way I would speak to him again is if he approached me to feature my or my wife's car.
ScottyD otoh is a GREAT guy and really into the cars and car show scene. Sadly ScottyD wasn't there this year. I hope ScottyD comes back and maybe will do a video of my wife's GTO.
He already did a video of me and my Roadrunner :D

More Pass Christian pix.
If you can get a good spot, you can put up an EZ Up. My wife and a friend I met at my first full week at CtC. He had a 69 Nova SS with a 375HP/396 and after a Hemi Cuda kept beating him he put in a built 427 and turned the tables.

We're planning to go next year!!!
Try to plan on spending the whole week if you can!
If you can't, the last Saturday of the week of Cruisin the Coast is the biggest day. As the week progresses, more people show up. Thursday morning is always Mopars at the Marina in Long Beach, a must attend!
Look at the online schedule in advance and plan as well as you can ahead of time. Venues like the Biloxi Block Party, Ocean Springs venue, and Bay St. Louis on the last Saturday require getting a spot in line or to park in the show area by or before dawn!
The mall in Gulfport is not a time sensitive venue, and you can always just cruise up and down the coast.
You should book a place to stay NOW!

And finally Saturday at Bay St. Louis. We got our great parking spots, about 10 cars from the corner of the road that leads into the heart of the action at Bay St. Louis and turns onto Main Street. THE place to be IMO on that day. We were there at 4:30 am to park, and then came back around 8:30 am.

Rat Rods that look like they were assembled in someones garage with the parts they had available or could find in a junk yard make sense. But, Rat Rods with tons of unrelated junk mounted everywhere make no sense at all to me.

Ooops. Sorry. This is the car and picture I was referencing in the posted pictures. It looked like the same car to me.
