Hello everybody. My name is Eric. Thank you all for the warm welcomes in the welcome wagon.
I’m currently gathering information on my pending restoration of my 1968 Plymouth Sport Satellite convertible. Planing on a GTX tribute.
What I’m looking for is Day 2 restoration ideas.
Here’s my thought. Guy orders a 1968 Plymouth GTX Convertible brand new.
While waiting for his new car to arrive he buys a PILE of parts from his local speed shop.
Wheels, tires, headers, intake, carburetor, valve covers, air cleaner, tach, etc.
Nothing to tacky or street freakish. Lol.
A correct looking restoration with some period correct speed parts thrown in.
I’d be interested in seeing what others have done.
Thanks. Eric.
