I am used to going 3-5 states over to get a new project so when I saw this 68 Charger only 5 hours away I knew it had to be the Hemi Charger I've dreamed of. After arriving at the scene you can imagine my disappointment in seeing it was just a 318 like I was actually told. I was sure that was a mistake I had to correct. The car ran and drove so I saw the potential it had. Brought it home almost 3 years ago and began.
Sold the wheels/tires, 318/904 and 8 3/4 rear and proceeded with sheet metal work.

I could see it all coming together so I had the engine shop I have worked with for 40 years build me the engine. That took months in itself. But it came home one day, & when ready was set in place. As luck would have it Jamie called to see if I still wanted the A855 trans I had been waiting for, yes I said and so it was. I was buying every B body Dana 60 on the West coast at the time and found a keeper for it. With drive train in and the sheep metal all done I had to add a small custom touch. Those front blinkers needed to be bigger and have Orange lenses! More to come.

Looks like "The Block" ??
I love my Passon 855.
I switched out the 3.54 ring & pinion gears for 4.10s, and turn 2,750 in 5th at 70 instead of 3,500 in 4th!

I guess it is just a play on words. I was looking for an actual mistake the factory made.
I look at many things in a strict literal sense.....Like when a guy says that he has to TAKE a ****. I laugh because I imagine a guy playing the role of an actual turd burglar.
