Old man buys worthless Wyoming mine then finds out it contains $37 BILLION worth of rare earth minerals...lol

Step one: Have 2 million dollars laying around 12 years ago.
Step two: ignore your purchase for a while, because why not, it was only 2 million dollars
Step three: Someone "suggests" you have to test the soil for old contaminates from mining
Step four: Discover through this "suggested" testing that the land is loaded with things Uncle Sam wants
Step five: ?????
Step six: Profit

How long before the Injuns decide that the land is sacred and that they were tricked into selling it, and must be handed back OR.....Uncle Sam confiscates it to settle the feud with the 'late father' and the current owner gets nothing.

Edited - accidentally wrote scared instead of sacred.

The article says the man bought it, but also says he's the CEO of Ramaco Resources - a metallurgical coal company making about $60 million a year. It doesn't say whether he bought it personally or for the company.
