The RoadRunner was a brilliant idea that worked out perfectly.
A beautiful muscle car that was affordable for the working/family man.
 
RIP Mr. Smith - Thanks for giving us such a memorable muscle car to be enjoyed for decades.
 
...yes, rest in peace, Mr. Smith. Thanks so much for that car! I worked in a service station through high school (late sixties) and the first time I heard a Road Runner horn it was "so long" to Chevys and Fords.
 
Rest in Peace Sir. These are our hero's. Visionary. Car guys who could get the job done. Imagine having a key role in a product that stands the test of time and has a following like this. Died suddenly in his 90's as he wished.
