I have been shopping around for a rear seat dog hammock for a car (rather than a SUV or Truck). The car is a Grand Marquis and I do not have rear headrest. I can mount to the package tray kid's seat latches (and even improvise with a zip tie if needed).
I would like a hammock that protects the door panels as well as the front seat backs, etc.
I bought a hammock for $30 and it served me well between two rental cars for a few trips and then fell apart. Don't mind spending $100 if I get something that protects the seats well and will hold up between trips of installing and removing, etc.
