I measured 1.5" above the exhaust manifold..and I found a new master cylinder in my shop with the ports on the opposite side. But I don't think it's for disc brakes, as both reservoirs are small. I'll have to do some research. And I found a nice chrome one on ebay that looks oem but it's $80. And then I would need to make or buy some new hard lines. It looks very close ! I've not seen a master with lines on other side ! A heat shield might be a good idea ! How much room is actually there ?
The mc are made for disc brakes on the left side
I’ve got disc brakes and my mc is on the left side. I would take a pic but my car isn’t stored at my houseView attachment 990323
My 69 service manual shows it on the passenger side or engine side . But there is room on the drivers side, If I can get all the parts to make it work correctly.
Yes.and a bracket to clear the hemi head. The hemi master cylinder had outlets on the opposite side, didn't it?
Or don't I remember that correctly...
Don't know if this works for your application !! not mine There are several others that say they're aluminum but look like OEM 1 1/32 bore.
I lIke it. And it won't rust! The chrome one identical to the aluminum one looks nice, but I'd be worried about the Chinese chrome job. Thanks!
