Decided I did not want to leave the big bottom door gaps, so came up with a plan to fix them. Had this piece of shelf standard standing in the corner for awhile, it was easy to cut in half and make 2 pieces of angle and weld them on the bottom of the doors. Filled the void with epoxy so should be plenty strong
One more side to do tomorrow. I like this epoxy from Harbor Freight- tough as nails, half hour working time and 5 bucks for 400 ml, compared to 80 bucks for 3M stuff

Nothing I did nothing to my Mopar
It just sits. Fresh 440 build, fresh paint and top, fresh polish on Slots, and no time to get to the shop to work on it.

Makes me sad too. No idea. When I get the chance, I'll pull em and check for stampings
Changed out the rack in The Roach. Hopefully this will take care of the noise.

Completely going thru the brakes on my Road Runner. Everything new with exception of the original drums. They still had plenty of stock left in them, so I had them turned.

A lost art in most places. Many wonder why their brakes grab... best I do these days is drums turned and then you run around with one foot on and off the brakes and throttle to wear them in to shape.

Started a Clean and Rebuild on the wiper motor.

I worked on removing all the silicone left on the flanges of a newly acquired Edelbrock 440 Torker II intake.
Then I blocked sanded the flanges down with some 150-grit and went around with a brass brush cleaning it.
Finally, a bubble bath in some Dawn dishwashing soap and a good scrubbing. Next step a lite glass beading before I remove all the lettering on the outside.
Once that's complete, I'll do a little sanding with some 80-grit and a few coats of Seymour Alma Blast, and it will look brand new.
I already own most of the performance type 440 intakes, however I didn't have one of these in the collection.
This has been a great inside project for a cold winter's day.
