What do you think of these rims on a Charger?

I’ve always thought these would look good on my Coronet

Thank you. My goal was to have a modern version of a 5 spoke like a Cragar.

Some people don’t like the larger diameter wheels and in many cases, I agree with them. Razor thin sidewalls are not for me.
To the original point though…
I agree with Delta. Thin spokes show more brake components and unless you’re running giant rotors, it might look bad. I love the old school look of these…

I’m likely to use them on this car:

I'm not much of a fan of the curved spoke design.....but the larger diameter wheel has grown on me over the years however wheels that are larger than 18's are not on the list.

Moving the envelope... For years most guys who aren't hard and fast stuck on 15's were willing to accept no more than 17's... Now 18's... And I agree, Kern's 18's work... Gotta have a lot of tire sidewall to make it work but the right wheels can work as 18's...

Yes, I want 27-28" diameter to try to have some sidewall, I hate the rubber band look as well but do want a modern tire on this car now.

I've been wanting to upgrade, hard to tell in this photo, but the 20yr old bfg gave up

She sure was a lumpy bumpy squirmy roll down the block and then back into the garage. Took a few turns to see it

those basically are the same as the vn510 and they look awesome. They really are the perfect Trans Am style rim, I know they are awesome on an E body, I think they would be sweet on a B as well.

One thing I wish was different about the forged 5 star was them having a lip. AI generated one and I think they are pretty hot, i deleted it tho

I reset the prompt and started again and gave a long text prompt along with the photo and it got a lot closer on the VN510's, interestingly it can't quite get the shape or the light gray correct but the all silver version the shape was pretty good. Though there's only 9 spokes...

The car lost the rear side marker tho lol

the prompt was this and I attached the photo of the vn510:use this rim. 10 spokes, 2 different sized triangles between the spokes. The spokes are the same width their full length. The rim is silver and the spokes are gray, the center cap is silver. The spokes are flat, not round. there are 10 spokes. make sure both wheels have 10 spokes

I've had too much experience with belt separation on tires with the worse being Generals. Had 3 go bad with one actually shedding the tread and damaging my Dakota. Fed up with the brand I filed a claim and sent the tire to them and they actually paid! One that shred itself was a Michelin but it was 21 iirc and was on my flat bed trailer but never ever had any problems with BFG's. Go figure.

Yup, separations have been a problem for as long as there have been belted tires.... The old Firestone 721 was next level I probably replaced 300+ bad 721's... And I only worked as a tech in a service station for a couple years...

I remember them turds lol. Seems like changing the direction of rotation was a no no with those?
