What did you do to your Mopar today?

Did a leak down & compression test. Was not happy with the performance last weekend at Atco Dragway. It was very hot and humid but I was off more than the norm.......

Removed the supposedly “rebuilt” in 2010 383 out of the 64 yesterday. Mopar style, K member, motor, and lower suspension all at once. First time doing it and went smooth

the engine bay looks nice without a bunch of extra wholes etc. that will be a easy clean up and paint.

Drove 75 miles through rain to the WI Mopar Muscle Club show. Weather was good at the show. Hung out with Sonny Black, eric383, and a bunch of other friends down there. Our crew all took home hardware. Lots of fine cars there.

Worked on the left fender yesterday. About 3/8 inch of filler on the top corner.
Prior body butcher made little/no effort to straighten it before filler.
The last pic is after hours of hammer, dolly and heat shrinking.

I think I am making it better? still have one stretched spot giving me trouble.

Back in the shop adding bed liner to the bottom of the car . . .
Didn't want to forget the under side of the rockers to "try" and help prevent some rock ships ( this car will be driven )

Got the second coat on the passenger side . . .

And second coat on the driver side too . . .

Wiped 29 years of crude off of a, rattle can paint job, engine. For those that say that stuff doesn't hold up... it's all in the prep work! :fool:
