What did you do to your Mopar today?

I removed the vacuum/switch module that I bought at Carlisle after I realized the vacuum part of it was fine, but the electrical part did not work at all. I found a heater control in the attic I had forgotten about and salvaged the module from that and installed it. Not a job I wanted to do twice.

Fired up my 65 Dodge with a xram and 3116 holleys today . Warmed it up and adjusted idle no tach. Guess 1100 rpm, ok but not happy with it. Shut down fuel pump to run primary bowls out of gas. As the gas was running low the idle smoothed and was at 8/900 rpm for the last 30 seconds before it ran out of gas. No carb guy here. Have checked to make sure no fuel dripping into carb before starting. Going check again for drips but think I'm going to drop float level in primary bowls. Power valves are plugged, another thing to check, bad gasket.
 
Drove the wheels off the old gal this weekend. So it was a good weekend! Took a cruise to a quarry we used to jump from this cliff

Since I still had most of the dash pulled apart, I decided today to install the new heater-A/C harness I had provided to the shop that worked on my car, but had not been installed. I had to pull the bulkhead disconnect to remove two leads and replace them with leads from the new harness. Overall, it wasn't a bad job at all.

Today, I got the dash bezel back in and the steering column back up only to find the turn signal switch stalk flopping around. So, off with the wheel to see what the problem was. With a Grant wheel and adapter, there are a lot of extra fasteners to take out to get to the switch. Once I got down to it, it was simply the screw holding the stalk to the switch had come loose. That was a lot of disassembly to tighten a screw, but it had to be done.

Good to see a couple pictures. I need to take mine apart on my 65 Coronet. The switch is bad, sometimes both brakes work, sometimes only one. Wiggle the lever and it comes on.
 
Got the carpet in the Power Wagon and ceramic coated the polished upper trim.
