What did you do to your Mopar today?

Not the Mopar I should be working on. Damn parts are like ones for a dump truck!

It CAN be done without removing the alt/comp and bracket!

Why don't auto manufacturers use fiberglass insulation instead of cloth/thread type insulation. Mice don't like fiberglass.

I don't think there is really anything that stops mice except several of these. They will kill a Rattler as a bonus. Bullsnakes are like pets around our place.

I ran across the bridge and went over to ECS auto concepts and picked up some goodies for my 70 Charger RT.

Hot damn!!! Posting on Page #440 of this thread. :bananadance::bananadance::bananadance::bananadance::bananadance::bananadance:

Did some minor tuning up today of the Holley Sniper on board my A100....following the great advice from a fellow member here - @rmchrgr ...tweaked the "Wizard" settings to a more appropriate level in some areas....changed Target A/F ratio from 12.5 to a more acceptable 14.2 (after first trialling at 14.5
Also adjusted several other settings including fuel delivery flow and RPM etc.

Having recently replaced the spark plugs due to over-fuelling and fouling, I decided to remove the O2 sensor and check it out. Found it all coked up with soot, so I wiped it over and sprayed a decent amount of Map Sensor spray to clean it up....dried it off a bit, re-installed, and test fired the engine.

It actually started better, and my eyes don't sting so much from the rich running condition. :D

Having a bit of fun putting regular old "car stuff" on Fred right now.
For example, he doesn't have a lot of the usual rubber body bits and pieces
and apparently hasn't in many years now.
Bought a body bumper set from a fellow FBBO member and was trying to
figure out what goes where. Maybe y'all can help?
I got all the hood stuff figured out and installed last night:

What are the ones not labeled? Does my '68 GTX actually have all these?

Good fella to do business with. He's got some stuff on here for sale right now.

Hell yes, got on page 440. Easy job today. New brake shoes. I like them kinda stress free jobs! Looks like a nice weekend for a test drive and a cold beer later.

Installed trans cooler, filled trans, adjusted throttle cable, heat insulated shifter cable, reinstalled drag link, rerouted negative battery cable.

Had to make a run for coolant, but I should just need to connect the battery and do a smoke test. If I pass then may try and get it started!

I changed so many things over the last two years I’m worried I forgot something. Guess I’ll know soon!
