Seems like my Indy rockers are no longer available! My one exhaust pushrod broke apart at the cup and messed up the rocker. So it looks like I need a whole new set of rocker arms. What are some good choices for the money? I know of some of the high dollar rockers, but are there other choices that will work with my Mopar .557?

Rocker arms are not the right place to save a buck, IMO.

I’d look at Harland Sharp.

Look at Mancini rockers (Harland Sharp bodies). I'd run straight Harland Sharp if planning to go any bigger.

Indy rockers have had a really bad rep over the years. Breaking under roller spring pressures which most run with there 440- heads etc. Maybe the new owners will get with a better supplier like HS, Hughes, RAS, etc for something reliable.

What's Isky like these days? Had great results with them on a .660 lift roller cam years ago....

I just did a Summit search for Isky Chrysler rockers. Nothing. Still have cams though.

Be aware that not all of the different brands of rockers will require the same length pushrods.

So, you may end up needing pushrods after swapping the rockers.

What brand of pushrod was it that failed?

The least expensive rockers I’ll use these days are the HS made pieces from Mancini.

The last set of “Isky” rockers I bought(over 15 years ago) were Crane pieces in an Isky box(Crane cast into the rocker).
I think it’s been a very long time since the Isky style rocker has been produced.

When I last priced a set of Crane iron rockers, which had to be 10 years ago or so, they were $499...... just the rockers, adjusters, separator springs.
No shafts, no hold downs.

I used something else.

I seem to recall Indy rockers were made by Dove, but as previously noted they are known to fail when spring pressures rise... I tried to find a link to Dove but got noting.. They may be gone..

I bought Comp Magnum rockers for mine, I checked the contact pattern.. looked perfect. I've got 18,000 miles on them so far without any issues.

I like Harland Sharps but went with these because I liked the idea of them being bushed vs bearings seeing how they're well lubricated through the shaft.. one less thing to fail.

Have these myself but they're not bushed. Just rocker body on shaft deal. Maybe the newer ones are bushed.

Are you sure yours are Comps? There's a knock off sold by Proform & PRW that looks allot like the Comps but the early version wasn't bushed & were prone to galling on the shafts... The newer version seems to be a decent part, lotta guys run them... I still prefer my old Isky Ductile Iron rockers but they've become collectors items so...

What color are your rockers. I have a set of black INDY/DOVE rockers I would sell cheap. I broke one also so I replaced the set with T&D, but if it's only one rocker you need, PM me.

Early Comps weren't bushed. Neither are the Mancini rockers. It's really not required till roller spring pressures but definitely nice to have. It's the reason I'm going to run a solid flat tappet cam as I don't feel like dropping the money on better rockers just yet.

My rockers are black 1.5 ratio Indy #440-RA-4SR

I think dove is no more. I have a Friend that has 390 FE motor that has had problems with Dove too.

For the OP, T&D, Harland, Hughes. These are all good choices
