I just pumped $100.00 C. ($80.00 US) of 87 octane fuel into my 2015 Dodge Durango today. This is the first time in the 5 years I have owned it that I have done this. Regular fuel was $1.30.9 per liter at this Ultramar station. Other stations in town were at $1.36.9. 4.5 liters = 1 Canadian gallon, so that makes it $5.90 per Canadian gallon. 4 Canadian gallons = 5 U.S. gallons. $5.00 Canadian = $4.00 U.S. So, doing the math, it would be like $3.77.6 US per US gallon. Sad thing is, I was still about 3 gallons off empty!

It's all relative. With a 33 gal tank in the Ram I get $100 hits all the time.

Every fill up the last 13 years has been over $100 on my F150's... they have 130l tanks! That said, I've only filled it twice since Covid started... too busy cruising the old fleet on AV Gas.

Yup, the local gas pumps have a $100 limit per fill up... That got my 34 gallon tank filled 3/4 of the way...

You could blame the Queen.

effing Trudeau. We are so screwed. Hey, if Canucks complain about our leader here does it still get moved to the political cesspool? I don’t want to start any trouble.
Tough call. LOL

$118 to fill my work F-150 yesterday....what's that, $150 Canadian?
OP noted: "it's the first time in five years..." Same thing down here. Since early 2021 we've climbed right back up to 2016 prices...we'll just leave it there...

Be thankful the pump goes to $100. Many here only go to $74 so for the first time since owning my 2017 Ram 2500 I have to insert my debit card TWICE to fill it!!!

Go inside and they tell you what you owe. From the wilds of Canada 2011

You guys are lucky.....$100 doesn't go far down under.

My A100 has a 92 litre tank - 24+ US gallons.......it would cost me around US$175 to fill the tank with our 98 Premium unleaded - equivalent of your 93+

I'm thinking of replacing the fuel gauge with a Taxi meter...so I can see the dollars disappearing as the engine runs. :D

Just a shame the tooth fairy raised the fuel prices in January. How did that happen? Just bad luck I guess.

I got a tooth pulled not too long ago but no fairy gave me anything for it......

I know a lot of you use your trucks/cars daily so I sympathize with y'all on the wallet thing. I don't drive very much at all these days so I normally top my tank off when it gets to about 1/2 tank. F-150 5.3 Flex Fuel at 87 octane. Comes to around 40.00 to 45.00. That is even with fuels points from my shopping and then when I hit Costco. Still at the rate gas is being rammed up needlessly, it would cost me anywhere from 95.00 to 100.00 for a complete fill up. I normally get around 3 1/2 weeks per gallon due to not driving all the time and my F-150 gets around 17 miles/gal average. Looking for a small SUV with a V-6/4WD/AWD for becoming my grocery getter and run about as opposed to using the truck. Looking primarily at 2015 - 2020 Jeep Cherokee...cr8crshr/Bill:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::usflag::usflag::usflag:

40 gal.s @$3.79 Diesel = $151.60
I'd gladly only pay $100 USD in the f350 PS dually 4x4

19 gal.s @$3.89 91 oct. swill = $73.91 Dakota SLT 4x4

we have about almost $1 a gal. added state fuel tax

I miss 'real leadership' &/or our independence
'in our energy policies' for the 1st time in 4-5 decades
when we were only paying $1.99 or less a gal.
just not too long ago, like 11 months
