for my '71 GTX: the front license plate bracket fender mounted turn signal pigtails (or maybe just the grommet?) rocker panel trim .... ya, I know

    295 50 on a 10" rim?

I think the '71 and '72 Roadrunner's have a different width fender than the '73+ Also I'm pretty sure they are also wider than the Chargers. Thanks for the reply and picture. That wheel tire combo looks spot on. /salute

    295 50 on a 10" rim?

Is anyone running or know if a 295 50 tire on a 10" (5" bs) rim will fit on a GTX? I know a member who's running a 295 on an 8" (4.5" BS) rim. I need to go with Magnum 500 15's and they only come in 8 or 10". The 8's are a little too narrow imo Thank you

Just got my parts from PG Classic and.......WTF!!!

for the price I think its a deal. How much more is it going to rust inside the car once installed? The only thing that would concern me is how well the cover is bonded. How does it look from the top? Ive bought some stuff from PG and its been top quality at a great price. I guess it...

    8 3/4 rear end

Do you have the 741, 742 or 489 third member? From what I've read, the 741 is the weakest but still more than enough for street tires.

    71 - 74 RR/Satty Tire/Wheel Combos ....

Ive asked this question on Moparts and The Roadrunner Nest and the consensus from the replies is that for 71-72 you can easily go to a 295 8"rim 4.5" back spacing. AZ Nick has that set up on his car and he says (I just PM'd him last week) there is still plenty of clearance. Of course its...

I found a cool video from the 70's

If they did that people would realize how incredibly boring NASCAR is today and would hurt the ratings. I think the only reason the people who do watch it these days is out of a sense of civic duty or religion. :) When ever I hear someone say "Nascar sucks", which is often in these parts, I...

73-74 Roadrunner/Satellite carb to hood clearance?

Ive got an Air Grabber set up on mine and with an Edlebrock Performer 440 manifold, I still had to drop from the stock 2.75" air filter to a 2.25" to get it to clear. You've got the biggest air filter I've ever seen there

    Worst parts supplier ever

I realize posting in this particular thread isnt the best place but it isnt the worst. I ordered seat covers from Legendary recently. I told the guy I'm trying to match the back seat so I need BLACK with silver/grey inserts. He said "Oh, your talking about Gunmetal Grey". I said, "well...

    1971 Plymouth Road Runner Ad.

The ride height looks funny in the ad to me (IE: the front looks high and the rear looks saggy and bouncy). Ive got those Mopar XHD springs in mine and the fender sits above the tire and there sure as hell isnt much bounce to them.

    71 B body cars VIN/core support numbers

Ya, I was looking at Moopa's on the weekend and his was also on top of the rad support in the middle and on the cowl in front of the driver.

    71 B body cars VIN/core support numbers

My car which has the fender tag, door jam sticker and dash plate does NOT have a VIN stamp on the cowl under the weather stripping, nor does it have a stamp on the engine side of the rad support. I read its not unheard of for some cars to get missed when they were stamping.
