Where do the hedge trimmers go???

Well you see, when a man and a woman take the time to get to know each other really well sometimes they fall in love. When this happens they get married. When a man and woman are married and they love each other very much they usually want to share their love with offspring to continue the cycle of life ...

The wife and I dropped off all the youngins at the Grand Canyon after watching Joe Dirt. My next door neighbor in foreclosure disappeared a month ago and has a warrant for his arrest and bounty hunters looking for him. My wife has taken on trimming his trees and shrubs. I get to cut his grass. I had to tell her I wasn'r springing for $60 for grass seed for his lawn as long as there are Plymouth parts to be bought.

I wish she would keep her damn yard tools out of the kitchen!

So, it looks like you haven't had dinner at the table, sat in any chairs, slept in your bed, used the home gym or walked in the hallway for a while!! Got any parts stored in the bath tub?

Wow. Very cool. I'm going to share this thread with my wife.
I hope it doesn't piss her off.

just showed my wife this...she asked "how long did it stay like that?"

I am very fortunate to have one just like yours........when I showed her these pictures she said "wow, they're just like us"!

Not in the bathtub yet, but thanks for the recommendation. Maybe I need to be on an episode of Plymouth part hoarders. Most of this would fit in the garage if it wasn't full of my wifes antique refinishing projects. I bet her the car would be back together before she has the antique sofa and two chairs redone she is working on. She already has the fabric and has an upholsterer lined up. She insists on doing the refinishing herself. I keep pushing for hauling it all to a furniture refinisher/upholster and just pay the man the $2, She probably wishes I had just sent the car to a restoration service. Marriage is a balance of respecting each others wishes.

I guess each give us some satisfaction while costing twice as much by doing it ourselves.

First date with my wife was in my 64 Plymouth Sports Fury convertible 383 4 speed 44 years ago. We have been married 35 years this year. She thought I had moved on and given up my motorhead ways, but boy did I fool her! She liked the GTO I owned way back when and the two Vipers I had over the course of 11 years, The old musclecar, not quite so much. I know she is going to want to drive it to car shows once it is done. Right now she just offers to sell it to anyone who admires it. She has not experience all the thumbs up and "cool car" comments the car has gotten even when I drive it with only a driver's seat, no dash and no windshield.

Your wife is a Saint! Or maybe shes just happy you haven't turned the bathtub into a partswasher.

Just another day around here.... your a lucky guy!

I consider myself blessed when mine lets me bring parts in to wash them. As soon as they're clean, I have to take them right back out to the garage. Yours is definitely a one-of-a-kind.

Met my wife in 1970 and was driving a 66 Belvedere 318 but dropped in a 383 while we were dating and she even helped some on that way back then. In 71 Uncle Sam got me and got shipped over seas. She wanted to get married then but I didn't want to. Turns out she was looking to get away from home and married some other jerk and he was a jerk and I got married to someone else in 79. We did however get back together and got married in 86. I still have a 66 Belvedere and even tho it's not the same car, I've had it for over 20 years and have had many cars during our 27 years of marriage. My X hated cars...hell, she hated most of the things I did and don't know why she married me. Don't know why I married my X for that matter.

good women are hard to find and I have one of them
she has built me two houses and lets me buy toys
and I let her buy toys and tools 36years and counting

now to clean up the garage so I can rebuilt the 73 SSP I owned before we got married
this will be the third and last time

My wife just saw this and she said you put the parts there just for the pics, then moved them to the garage before your wife got home.
She just doesn't understand these things.

...when she builds you a garage to keep the car stuff in. Somehow, the bedroom just doesn't work as a man cave! I have to admit, many years ago, wife no.1 stacked slicks on the living room floor and tossed a piece of plywood atop & used it for a coffee table...worked too! :love4:

So, what happened to #1? My X is still around and kicking and driving Hunduhs.....with dirty wheels. Whenever she washed her car (I usually did it unless I was working a lot) she never would wash the wheels and tires because "they're on the dirty ground anyways....." Man...where did I go wrong lol
