For those of you that have painted the inside of an entire car during a resto, how did you paint the inside of car at one time without bumping into anything while you were moving around the inside? Or did you do it in sections and it just looks like one spray job from the photo updates?

Anyone put the car on a rotisserie and rotate 90 degrees so you could be standing through the window opening? I'm trying to plan ahead.

Thanks

Have it totally stripped, do the back seat area first while youre in the car, back of the roof, then firewall. Get out of the car and do the rest of the roof and floor.

I've done 2 of them on a rotisserie now. Works great in the trunk area as well as the interior by turning the car on each side.

did you have to do metal work inside....floor pans or other repair?

Thanks for pointers, everyone. No, I haven't had to do any work on the floor pan or interior. I was very lucky, the guy I bought my RR from had that all done by a shop previously. @garrett1308 thanks for pics/instructions. Did you base/clear the inside just like exterior?

P.S. is that a swamp buggy or a civilian APC in your profile pic?

I had the top down.

I can just take the roof skin off, it's all the same haha! Jokes!

I've helped a buddy with his first gen firebird some and it's a convertible, it sure makes putting that interior back together way easier haha for guy my height (6' 3")

Its just single stage.

It’s a Max 2 6x6.

l'm saving up for a rotisserie, looking forward to working with one since I've tried doing a lot of this work crawling around... not my favorite!

@garrett1308 what brand of single stage did you use? I was going to paint my dad's truck in sublime green but I'm skeptical that Summit Racing's single stage sublime isn't the same from the pictures on the site.

Been a while, so I don’t remember what I used. Anything name brand should be fine though.
