Since its inception, the Dodge Chargers always could be picked out in a crowd of other cars, today not the case. A 2017 Nissan looks about the same as a 2017 Charger.

The roof is similar.....a little bit but so are so many others. The rest is totally different.

Many brands look similar because much of the styling is farmed out to design studios.

We've been through this before.

It's all about aerodynamics.

The 2005 mustang and Charger were the first cars in decades NOT to have a front end that was styled purely to be aerodynamic.

And they will still go 200 MPH!

Apart from aerodynamics a lot of the "similar" designs are a result of design rules to pass current legislation relating to various criteria e.g. pedestrian impact. You wouldn't be allowed fins anymore for instance.

for a 4 door sedan looks pretty damn good

I'd like to see a 2dr version, but Dodge/SRT is reluctant
maybe after they do a 'cuda version they've promised US for a decade now
they'll do a retro Charger in a 2 dr

or like this one (still looks like 4 drs)

proportions are a little weird
but I'd be all over one of these

They've moved the fin to the roof. :)

There was a reason other than styling for the 500 roof line. Like keeping the rear window in place.

They haven’t been really cool since designed in Clay when designers had vision and a free hand.
CAD ****.

Without cd **** the size of todays cars would be ridicules. Maybe more fun to work on but not so much to drive. Real estate is expensive even in a car.

I like the new Chargers. I think the styling is awesome. Even cooler with a Hellcat engine sitting between the fenders.

IMO that would sell like ice water on a 100 degree day
