I am looking for opinions of which would be a better option and why.
My project is a 41 Dodge COE truck which will be big and heavy. It will have a 522 motor making around 600hp/torque. I don't know a lot about transmissions but have narrowed my tranny options to either the A41 setup from SST(electronic controlled with lock up convertor) or a custom 518(switch for overdrive with non lock up convertor) built by A&A transmissions. I've considered the gearvendor unit but want more overdrive. The costs are comparable. The size of the cases is no worry as I have a ton of room for either.
So, which would you choose and why? Thanks so much for your input.

What is the price difference between the two?

There is not much of a difference in price between the two....close to 6K!

Make sure they use HD internals to stand up to that power level. I used a diesel trans as a core.
