Calebjr from Nampa, ID ripped me off

A quick 'bing' search, the name

WB Auto Tech is in Escalon Ca. (down in the valley)
don't see any name 'like that' (FBBO @Calebjr handle) listed
489 California St, Escalon Ca, 95320

What I saw, it didn't say anything about what type of business,
& nothing about being a recycle or wrecking yards

There's a listed, Chief Exc. officer
Wesely Borba (same address as above)
listed as manager is the same Wesley Borba name
& same address too

maybe contact them see what's up, look it up get the phone # too
(rules, can't post here)
if they don't know the guy, or him using their name
it'd help them with stuff too
(not getting a bad name, for the business)
it's only been in business for appr. almost 2 years, since filling Oct. 18th 2023
according to a quick 'bing' internet search

I wonder if it's someone "allegedly" using someone else's business name ?
may have nothing to do with that buss. or that name either
may be all fake, don't really know

good luck with that crap
The scammer used a 208 area code which is Idaho.... Just cause a company happens to have the same name in this case WB Auto Tech it hardly means it's the same individual....

Don't know him but pretty sure Wesley Borba ain't your guy....

That's why I posted it...

information is key, more the better
when it comes to scams

the payment method is key. using a safe (for the buyer) method is the best way to go. Like standard PayPal or through eBay (same thing, maybe)

when I ask those who only want PayPal Friends & Family (no buyer protection) the seller claims it's for tax purposes, or some other dubious reason.

What I find ironic is they are in essence, admitting to being a tax evader, and asking you to trust them.

Sort of like a dishonest person claiming to be honest.

He is a member here. Not many posts and most were just to get his count up by saying welcome to new members. (or so it seems) It looks like he is also from California and not Idaho as per all his IP addresses. He was online here this morning. It's unfortunate a new member would take another new member to the cleaners like that.
Think about it, it makes little sense for an "old member" after a lot time and keyboard investment to burn a fellow member, if for nothing else they will be too easy to track down. A new member is essential a potential hit and run candidate, sadly.
Bottom line, if you are mainly told what you want to hear, and the price seems too good to be true, you get what you deserve to some extent old or new.
Regardless, tough break for our victim here, and thanks for the heads up.
