after the racepumps fuel pump problems i was having and thinking i might have a defected cam lobe for the pump, well i bolted on my new clay smith pump filled the carbie bowls then i had a 1L bottle of fuel sitting up on the bench with my inlet line going into, and the moment i turned the key and she fired the 1L bottle of fuel was empty and that was with all the fuel lines already full, HAHAHAHA i am so hapy right now, dialed the timing in now a carby tune is in order which is gonna be a headache with the dual quads, but i can strike that problem off my list.

thats great to hear benno, after all those problems.if i have any probs with my current pump i now know which pump i will try next, thanx.

So that's a Clay Smith mechanical? Glad to know the fuel is moving.

Tuning the dual 4 BBL's on a dual plane intake isn't so bad. We'll get you squared away!

yeh meep clay smith mechanical works so well still so relieved it worked.

any pointers on tuning the dual quads? my uncle is an old valiant drag racer from the 70's he said wind them woth out 2 and half turns and you should be right as he said every carb he worked on has neally always liked it at 2 and a half out, it runs like this but runs perfectly i am not sure.

thanks prop, you suggested it and it works good thanks mate
