Sorry for the struggles but if anyone can get it straightened out it's you.
With all the help and great advice you give I'm glad you at least get to run.

Doug,

What's going on at 42 this weekend? Didn't see anything on the schedule other than private event.

3 classes Stock / Super Stock, Factory supercar, N/SS. Qualified #5. Then .007 Red light 1st rd. Didn't matter 60ft fell off from 1.29 to 1.44. Zero tire spin. Pretty sure the converter is broke. I'll pull it today. My Friend Jeff Freese had a spare I can try. He won the event.

Pulled it apart tonight. The stator is no where near snug. Moves side to side .100". Tore the trans down, all good. New pump busing and front seal just to make sure. spare converter going in. Back in tomorrow. Ready for Columbus Friday.

What race in Columbus?

Tested tonight. Weather was hot and sticky. New converter was perfect. Missed the suspension setup on the 1st pass. Prep was poor. Right lane.029 r/t 9.30@145, adjusted shocks and tire pressure, right lane .019 r/t 9.232@145, lowered tires pressure 1/4lb, didn't like it. Left lane .031 r/t 9.238@145. They shut the track down at 9:30 instead of the advertised 10:00 so no 2nd pass in the left lane.

I've only raced there twice. Both times were a complete fiasco. I'll never go back to that track to race. It's always something.
Your consistency amazes me.

Struggling in qualifing this morning with a 9.38. Big weather swing. Car didnt respond like we thought. See what happens 1st rd.

Well we're getting close. Waiting on rd 4 semi final.
