Is there a difference in these things that justifies the higher prices? EFL1 is nearly 3 times as much as EFL552, but the only difference I can see is the plastic housing.

The Tridon LF12k is louder, so that's something.

Do they have different sounds? I am all for pleasant sound effects, especially if they sound expensive and not cheap and chintzy.

BTW, I'm also looking for a horn relay/door buzzer that makes a nice sound.

I always buy the $13 flasher from NAPA, Part #: NF EL12.
The sound is of a reliable working flasher, where the bulbs and the indicator flash consistently and don't struggle to barely flash once a minute.

I ordered the more expensive Standard flasher. I hope it sounds as good as that Roller flasher!
