Gladwin airport put on a meals on wheels community food drive so they opened the airport up for a drag race to raise money and awareness for the meals on wheels program.

Our local airport drags were cancelled this year, but promise to be back next year. A few of us have used this event as a test and tune before going to other Mopar events.
Elevation is nearly 2300 feet so times are about 1/2 second off with other factors involved.
Still it's a good event for locals and raises money for the airport.
Would like to see more of these events around the country as bigger tracks continue to go belly up.
Tough times for lots of folks I guess, but ours was due to a glitch in the insurance for the event.
There was a plane crash last year that caused an increase to 3 million dollar requirement!

No it was 1/8 mile 8.3 at 85 mile per hour about the same as has run ,they didn’t have water and no burn outs.
