I think I would have to say a 5 piece blue point screwdriver set. Half the price, twice as nice or my Miller might welder
But its a tough call as I have several and could consider my Sthil chainsaw

Yeah, I have to agree with KD as well on this too. My lift has paid for itself in safety and things I have been able to do that I couldn't do before. Indispensable!!!!

Plus, you can store two cars for the space of one!!!

Makita 4 inch grinder. So useful for so many things. Second place... maybe my cordless drill.

Snap On Phillips head screw drivers.

Nothing better, they are relieved on the lower point of the contact points and have 3 serrations along each contact face. They hold the Phillips head better than a GI Joe with King Fu grip holds his Bowie knife.

Late last week, the Wife saw an ad special.
Two Milwaukee M18 batteries, a charger and ONE of several tools. I got this:

                              MMT.jpg

I only chose this because I already had several other of the tools on their list.
This is called a "Multi-tool". It allows plunge cuts to be made in wood, stucco, brick, tile, other stuff too, apparently.
                              I haven't used it yet.

                                    Backing up a ways....
                                    Air compressor. Yes!
I bought my first way back in 1992. The ability to air up tires and operate an air ratchet was GREAT! Soon thereafter I was doing bodywork and paint. I started off with a Sears Craftsman 3 HP horizontal tank then graduated to a bigger one, then a HUGE one.
