Picked up my car.
STILL botched but I took it away! Needs a total clean and more cut/buff/polish, but it's home again.

I had a NICE drive though. Decided to unwind by going to the coast.

Turned inland to Bodega where 'The Birds' was filmed. This is the school & church in the movie.
Good thing for everyone that no birds **** on my car today

Then stopped to look at some Straus Family Dairy cows.
They all stopped eating and came to look at the car & listen to its soothing idle.
They were definitely MOPAR loving bovines!

I took the airbag assembly apart enough to see that removing the Audi rings from the front is my only option unless there is another Dodge type airbag cover that will bolt up, and I doubt there is. So I removed the rings and I will be filling that void with plastic filler and painting over it.

I can’t wait to do that. My brother and I got the rearend done just before his surgery in December. Hoping to get it put back under the car soon. He put Strange axles in and had 11” drums for me.

My body man called tonight. He took the rear window out of my Satellite project and the only rust he found in the channel was welded up without a patch. We took the rocker panel trim off and I will leave it off, but there was a rust hole under the rear trim fastener . It will need a patch. Good to know he is getting the small stuff done now. Getting ready to put the vinyl roof on Rear window goes back in first................................MO

I'm still running the original oil bath. I'm thinking of switching to a new-production Holley 1904 copy or a 2-bbl with an adapter. Either with a paper element air filter.
