What did you do to your Mopar today?

Adjusted the play in the rear end, installed the new trunk seal and found out that the wheels I bought won't fit...not enough bs.....:angry9:

Took the Bee out of the bubble and drove it for a bit. Sure felt good. Still has some racing fuel in it from the fall.
KID

First sunny day in a week where I'm at. Drove the Charger down to the Marin headlands (the bluffs just north of the Golden Gate Bridge) and took my dog for a walk on the beach. On 101 south, had multiple BMW & Benz drivers give me dirty looks as I thundered past them in the Green Monster.

"Your car cost over 100K and it looks dull next to my Mopar, jackass!" :icon_fU:

got it out of storage, took all the moth balls out, checked all fluid levels, tire presures, belts and etc. etc.. took it for a test drive checking temps and presures. filled with new gas.

tell you something. this will be the first full summer with the complete new power train and it sure made it feel like all the time and money spent was well worth it.:headbang:

well... i blew an upper rad hose today and it totally got crap all over my finely detailed engine compartment, ....SOOOO...i just let you guys guess what i did today ! lol

wDOG, I hate that when it happens.....antifreeze is a mess, but it could be worse

....Brake fluid..
hate that stuff

Drove it for the first time. Here it is out in the court in front of the house... The powerflite worked great!

Started to disassemble the engine in order to pull it and correct what was done wrong by the engine builder I originally had do it. Never again will I entrust someone other than myself to do and engine re-build. It just SUCKS!!!!!

Removed my hood scoop. I was a hard decision but I wanted more of a sleeper. Patched, sanded, and primered. Get to paint when the weather gets a little better. Also been having a problem with heat soak. after 20 minutes of sitting almost impossible to start. Didn't have much cash on me so just wrapped my fuel line with heat shield tape and the fuel pump and filter. Also removed the large metal single snorkel for this filter, figured it would t rap less heat. So far so good. I love a cheap fix. Eventually I will switched to steel braided lines and re route them further away from the engine. Today I think I will fill in the cracks and repaint my dash.

Just got dual exhausts put on the Green Monster. Flowmaster 40 series, Dodge tips. Grumbles and rumbles, feels a bit more powerful, sounds amazingly BAD ***!
I've never put an aftermarket exhaust on a car, so I'm in seventh heaven over the difference it makes!

I'm closing in on having nothing left to do to my car but drive it! :headbang:

Got an answer from my tech that I should have her back by the end of next week, with the laundry list completed...hopefully. I was definitely itching for it today. Thankfully it's going to rain tomorrow/sunday here in NJ.

Got the 67 out today and warmed it up for the oil change, 180 T-stat didn't open till 200, have to keep an eye on that. Spent a couple hours under it on the lift cleaning off last years road grime. Don't know if I'll be putting on as many miles as last year, too many rides, might have to put my number on this one and see who really wants it.........
