What did you do to your Mopar today?

I mocked up the new master cylinder tonight. The rear brakes feed through an adjustable proportioning valve mounted under the master to the original rear line, and the front disc brakes feed directly into the factory distribution block with the original inlet from the single pot master plugged.

Started to fit the wheel well trim on the Charger. Originals were long gone, and the new ones fit like OJ's glove, so some light shrinker/stretcher work and we're in the ballpark.

Do tell the technique you used to get that molding to fit.
I brought home the shrinker/stretcher from work. I just slowly bumped the areas around that needed it. The stuff is so thin that it doesn't take much effort to move. But basically you do a couple small light hits then check it, do a couple more, check it again and repeat however much until you get it laying how you want. I'll sand the areas that got marked up from the tool and polish it up.

Well, not my Mopar, but i went back to one of our local Pick-N-Pull wrecking yards and pulled the lower control arms out of a 69 Dodge Dart that they put out in one of the Mopar rows at the beginning of the month.
Had to go back with the official torsion bar remover tool to clamp down on the bars to get them out, before getting the LCA's out.
The bars were kinda stuck, but with the tool, they came out pretty quick.

Drilling out about 87 million spot welds so if i ever have a nice day when I’m not farming I can blast and epoxy prime the frame rails. Hopefully can get all the sheet metal welded on the 70 Charger by fall and it’ll look like a car again
 
Crawled around my'69 D300 yesterday. I finally installed my '50s Chrysler horn, which will get your attention, compared to the dead stocker. I ran a dedicated switch, as it's a one-terminal horn, versus the two-terminal on the stock horn. Deleted an unused toggle switch that had been installed for something in the past. And threw on the battery charger, as it appears I had left the parking lights on the other evening and drained it dead. Dummy!

Worked on my correct console for the '66 Coronet. Painted the silver area the correct Argent Silver and used 0000 steel wool to polish the bright areas, then used some Brasso to give that a bit of shine. I'll get it all installed this week.

Nothing on the Imperial, other than gathering a few bits so I can take a weekend and do it all at one shot.
