Test fitting the new fuel tank this afternoon. Couple of minor things to look at, but everything's looking good from here so far. I just have to take it back down and prep it for final installation now.

Going with an 8 3/4 ?
That's the plan...
My old one was in rough shape back when I pulled it at the start of the restoration, and it still is... in fact it's froze up at the moment. I plan to pull it apart and see what I have to work with here real soon. The one I have here at the moment has an old 489 case with 3.23 gears.

I made this tool to make lubricating the window regulators on my Charger a much easier job without having to disassemble anything. My inside window parts were in pretty good shape. Mostly just lacking grease, they were fortunately not crudded up with rust and greasy dirt, so I wanted to avoid having to disassemble the parts and risk breaking something. Got a used Braun toothbrush head and found that it screwed right on a camera tripod extension arm. The brush head bristles made it easy to get grease between the gear teeth, on the plastic roller wheels and inside all the tracks and channels. It was a bit time consuming, maybe 10 minutes to do the front windows and 15 to do the rear quarter windows, but it was able to reach everywhere without having to remove a single bolt and I got everything freshly lubed with white lithium grease...and a lot less work than having to remove a ton of bolts, parts, and finagle the regulator assemblies out of the top of the doors and rear quarters.

People often mistake 15x7 cop rims as wider than they are.
I can't count how many times people swear they are 15x8 until they actually measure them.
I think it has to do with the center section contour.
I agree. I have two in my garage. I think the picture angle fooled me.

Yesterday:
I enrolled in the "Jersey Jesus's" online body and paint academy. The D100 is in epoxy.

4 speed gear oil add/change????

Truck is lookin' good.
Well, that was quick.
Yes 833 oil change also while I was under there. I put Synchromesh in this time. What a difference. I've always had a little 1-2 clash when cold after rebuilding it years ago. I even put an entire new synchro (newer design) in when I rebuilt it. Haven't road tested it yet, but running on the stands, no issue. We'll see.

Since I don't work on my own mopars.. got a 30 yr dormant grand coupe running
A 340 transplant , seems to purr just fine. Needs a fuel pump

I'll have to remember to take a pic of the wiring harness and ign work they did back in the day. It'd make for a great electrical post

Put the new dashpad in, now I got to everything else back together

I finally found a replacement shaft for the Holley, and got the carb back on the B200. Test drove it, and needs a small adjustment on idle, and a tweak on the passing gear, but it's back up again ! It missed it's 50th B-Day at Carlisle, but hopefully will see some Fall cruising soon...

Noticed today the new repo dash pad has a bump in the middle got to pull the pad and see what's happening. Hopefully I can massage it flat.

Got it to lay flat. The repo pads must use a thinner metal core, Bends pretty easy. Just glad I noticed it before putting everything back together.
