The last car I did was a numbers RoadRunner and it had the inspection marks , a lot of NOS parts and was as close as I could get it to the assembly line day it was born. Very fun to build. Its very first outing was the Garlits show we used to have here in Ocala just a couple weeks after it was all together. It was all perfect sitting there and then a guy with his wife walked by and the wife looked over the fender at the engine and her giant purse with big buckles swung loose from under her arm and it slammed into the fender and chipped the brand new paint. Now when we go to a show we clean it and go walking and relax. Every year we just get the spots fixed and move on. Took it to a show in Orlando and it got tagged by a stroller. You can't protect them after they've grown up, you just have to let them fend for themselves.
