We bought a 71' Olds when the car was six months old. It wasn't a supercar just a nice driving car. When it was eight years old and 65k on the speedo rust had taken it's toll on the trunk floor and tail pan so we sold it. This picture isn't of mine but the same color and model. Today, there are lots of repoduction parts available on the market for these cars.

My 1st, not smart enough to get a pic back then. I worked after school at a DX station and put up hay during the summer then bought a 65 Impala SS 327 4spd.
In the 1st week I had toasted the clutch lol. My 1st clutch swap went well until I figured out the new / rebuild disc was in backwards.
Still miss that car.

My son bought it back a couple years ago

My Harvest Gold 70 Buick GS350.... It was a 1994th bday gift from my grandparents who were the original owners...
This is almost an exact copy (Stage I)...I don't have any pics of it when I owned it...

When I first got into cars, I didn't know the difference between a 6cyl and a V-8. Really wanted a '66 Chevelle and the first car I looked at was a 66 Chevelle 283, but passed because it was the first car I looked at. I bought a '72 Nova w/250 cid.

A year later I got my Chevelle...w/235. Eventually put a 350 in it. Still have a soft spot for that car.

My 2008 Saleen S281 supercharged...I had tons of mods done and dyno tunes and ended up with 615 rwhp. I got rid of it mainly because I didn't want to lose my license, lol...

a gm engineering marvel, a masterpiece! complete with a straight 4 cylinder 1 barrel carb, pontiac's 1977 sunbird put out a mind numbing 90 horsepower at 4400 rpm!.
and getting laid in the back seat was an accomplishment worthy of circus side show contortionists!

I'm not too sentimental about my non-Mopars, but there is one that I wish I still had... '96 blazer 4x4, put that thing through absolute torture and it never let me down(well, until the engine bay spontaneously combusted..at a gas station of all places!) 120,000 miles of trips to work all over the place, hunting and shooting missions to the desert scrub and Sierra Nevada pines, and blasting it through the Pismo dunes then parking at the water's edge, relaxing on the tailgate and watching the sun melt into the ocean (with my future wife and the proper refreshments, of course..!)

This was a pretty neat sleeper. 1969 Biscayne, 427 bench seat 4 speed. Originally 390 horsepower but changed to 425 horsepower with L88 cam. Fun car with 456 gears.

I can't think of one car that I owned that wasn't a Mopar and I miss it. Mostly glad to have gotten rid of them and I've owned a lot of non Mopar cars and trucks.

never took pics of anything when I was younger, I guess cameras and film were too much of a pain in the ***..........

1982..... first driver hotrod was a 68 chevelle...... 327 with a 4 speed 12 bolt posi and a SS hood...... not a bad high school rod

1984...... bought a 69 AMX 390 4 speed car minus engine..... eventually put a 401 in it, did the paint twice over the years ...... daily driver unless it rained until 2011, sold it

1985...... chevelle was gone, bought my 68 GTX for 900 bucks and drove it 3 years, still have it

1987..... picked up a 68 vette convert minus engine from a neighbor.....was a little ratty, which made it cool........put a 400 small block in it with chrome headers/sidepipes....... smoked all 4 gears, chicks kinda dug it....... unloaded it a couple years later, got into mud trucks

2004....... finished up a 460 Bronco build, sweet truck, sold in 2012

had a bunch of non mopars , but my 70 mustang fastback louvered n spoilered boss 302 . was the best handling car i've ever had , over vettes z28s ect... of course it was modified .the motor idled at 1800 , ran out to 8500 when it would stay together , slammed down were the hookers collectors would hit the lane markers with 15x8 200s's all around with bf t/as g50's tucked up in the wheel houses that i beat on with my body dollies for two or three hours on . and turned like a go cart . you could point it and wfo through the gears to 155mph with 3.91's in the 9''re . it was 310 ci with stock boss heads . should i say it had huge ports and got 4 mpg n made alot of hp . we'd go through 80 plus gallons on a weekend just racing around .
