is this correct for standard blocks, and need no machine shop work done? how about cam bearings i have seen some for roller cams, can standard bearings be used for the cam?thanks
If your asking how noisy they are, I didn't notice excessive valvetrain noise like some other stuff I do. The engine did have the stock manifolds on and about 18 inches of pipe going into the dyno 6 inch flex pipes. That headpipe to flex connection was not sealed so it wasn't the quietest in the room to give you a real good answer. I've used them on other street rod and marine engines with no complaints in the past. They are hundreds more than other street performance retro-fit sets, such as a Comp or the cheaper Morels I believe. Can't remember if I used their standard or reduced travel lifter unless I looked at my paperwork at the shop.how are those johnson's for after run rattle ? that nothing but rattler issues on a flat tappet hyd , lifter were relaxing back . and would rattle up in to oil pressure . i'm currently involved in a stock hp 440 build , and i'm leaning towards roller hyd for it . would like any feed back your can give .
