Swapping a Borgeson steering box in a 1970 Charger

I'm not familiar with what that is.
When I first installed the steering box, I had a pump in the car that was rebuilt in 2006 so it was 16 years old. It worked like new.

Today I took a gear oil pump and pulled as much fluid out of the reservoir as I could. I got maybe 6 ounces? The fluid looked clean and it smelled fine. It was a bit more yellow/amber than the new stuff I poured in. I fired it up and revved it to warm up the engine, then started turning the wheel with the car sitting on concrete. Like before, there were a few moments where the assist dropped out and the steering effort was HIGH, then it seemed to go away. I drove around the yard a bit, a series of turns and it seemed normal. I'll have to take it out for a drive and report on that.
