Removed the headliner from the '71 Charger and scraped off the insulation residue from inside the roof. Also test mounted my China-sourced, carbon-fiber-look LED dome light.

Maria's Opel was invited to a European Cars n Coffee on Sunday. Always been going to American iron car shows, quite a different vibe with all the GT40's, Porsches, BMW's, etc. They let me bring the Coronet to class-up the place. In the end, car guys are all the same: love their cars, appreciate everyone else's, and talk about nothing but cars! Even met a guy who was selling a 69 Roadrunner. I felt right at home.

Changed the 16 plugs in the Grand Cherokee's 5.7 and found out how easily a 3/8 ratchet can disappear down the air intake.

pulled the rotors off the truck yesterday to get turned (hard to find anyone that does it anymore) took them in in the road runner, then took it out again today to pick them up.

Took my nos trunk finish panel out of the box recently and found some spots on it that didn't wipe off. Today took some 35 year old Turtle wax maybe with compound and tried it on an area that doesn't show. It didn't hurt the shine so picked one of the spots to test it on. worked, continued to clean several. Then put back to sleep in its box.

When I called Crane, I was told they dumped all Chrysler stuff 4-5 years ago with no replacement available.

Good question. Although primarily European based, they welcome all interesting cars. There was a heavily modified Mercury Capri, a 69 El Camino and a 67 Chevelle present too.
After seeing all the beautifully restored early Porsches and BMW's and talking to their owners, I don't cry as much about the cost of my resto.

I haven't done ANYTHING to car after washing it a couple of weeks ago before going back east for a trip. We returned to power outages & another fire to distract me.
Did recieve a rebuild kit for carb, header gaskets & oil/filter for servicing it though.
I had high hopes of tinkering this weekend until I was reminded of a wedding I said I would attend...
