GRaveyard Kars

This is likely because parts are not as available for the early B-bodies. He doesn't want his shop or TV show tied up waiting for parts. That's good for the rest of us who like and appreciate our early B's who don't mind spending a little bit of time ferreting out the parts for our builds. I would hate to see our cars go so mainstream that we could not afford them any more. Witness what has happened to '68-'70 Chargers after most of the good E-bodies got grabbed up.
Man, the E body stuff started going to the moon over 20 years ago!!

After watching these car shows a lot, I only enjoy Roadkill, Engine masters, Full Custom Garage, and Garage Squad now.
Off my radar is, Texas Metal, Bitchin Rides, Iron Resurrection, GYC, and Overhaulin.
I’m just not interested in bagging, slamming or lifting everything, and or over acting hosts.
Just me.

Graveyard Cars

Smiley Drama Queen Dun Dunn Dunnnnnnnnn Drama Alert.jpg

I still watch & I DVR'd it,
just ffwrd thru the grabass dancing lame as skits/acts/impressions
Mark-isms BS

I do like Will the painter & now his son learning the trade
Will he gives Mark **** constantly,
but I'm sure it's still 100% scripted drama
Will does some nice paint jobs

I only watch to see the cool MoPars/cars

& a couple of good techs
like the final assembly guy & sheet-metal guys

Yeah, it's real easy to do a show about a old car that you can get any parts for without looking. How about doing a 64 Newport, or 58-300 for that matter!

The issue would be if anyone would watch.

I was trapped into doing some Discovery shows and the Canadian they sent down was always asking me to do stupid stuff to make it more interesting. After the first one I decided I was done.

I would say, we should be happy that there is a show that is mopar centric at all, that we can all watch. Yes, in the beginning, W states we're bringing them back to factory, when I see a body colored hood spring on a roadrunner. Ok. With their success, the cars have gotten better. Disappointing to me, is the Hemi Coronet R/T convertible that needed to be returned for "flaws". One of the most rarest mopes in our sphere, and they let it out, no QC. Brett is discerning, and that's why he is successful. So, take the show as entertainment, use what you can, and realize, even the "best"- are fallible. Peace out.

Haven't seen them ruin a good car. That's my biggest gripe with these shows. Gas Monkey ruined a black 1968 Camaro SS 396 convertible when any 6 cylinder car would have worked. Kindig is currently butchering a 1967 R/T. It was a nice car, so they cut out perfectly good floors and installed a custom frame. Why and R/T? Why cut the floors from a solid car? I'm sure a lot of people with a lesser model Coronet would have traded cars.

Ring Brothers...don't even get me started.

He's toned it down. He cares what people think and He has found a good balance. He gets to restore some of the best Mopars.

Just like any other show after a while the producers take over and throw in a pretty girl then family drama, no big deal. Does he know his ****? yes. Is he a little weird? yes. Is he rich and somewhat famous because of it? Yep

The painter is the best thing that's happened to GYC.

He plays the "find another good painter for what you're paying me" card very well and doesn't seem to be afraid of Worman.

...although for a shop that crows about "100% correct" builds including painted exhaust manifolds that will burn off and rust on day 3.....

Why all the base/clear?

The antics, scripts, and zaniness is tv. Mark has never acted like in person... he was extremely polite, approachable, and appreciative of the Mopar community.

I have spoken to Dave Rea, and Will many times about my projects and they have always helpful.

I'm betting the painter is paid very well lol

that show, and the other clown Foose, with their way of destroying cars, paved the way for the other barbarians like Kindig .

There's a BIG difference between a Restoration and a Customization! Foose & Kindig are customizers, just like George Barris!

I happen to like Kindig. I enjoy their show, he is good at what he does and there isn't much drama, a good laugh every once in a while is cool and keeps me watching. They have a great team dynamic as well.
Worman is knowledgable and when he makes a mistake, he admits it or Tony corrects him. I hated the first couple seasons, very little about cars and too much about drama. Now, I enjoy watching the processes they have in place. Neat seeing these cars come back to life. I also enjoyed watching him work that 71 cuda fender back straight after his guys put a new one on and deemed it unsaveable.
I absolutely hate fantomworks. He eased up a bit in the later seasons but that guy had to go through people right and left. And some of his technical knowledge was sketchy at best. Also dislike texas metal, I think it is, with the flatbrim hats, bagged 4wd trucks and rubberband tires, if I've got the title right.
Just glad to see mopars on TV

I'd rather watch dulcich and freiburger (roadkill). Mopar knowledge without the ego trip.
Friedburger!!! What a tool!!! Wearing fooking Flip Flops all the time and risking getting his feet mangled while being in a shop environment. Those items of footwear should by outlawed except for the beach, pool, shower or at home. Last I looked some of their road trips have taken them to cold fooking places in their quests and this clown is wearing flip flops. Things that make one say...HHHHHHHMMMMMM:realcrazy::realcrazy::realcrazy::usflag::usflag::usflag:cr8crshr/Bill
