Any Good Movies You Guys Like?

If you like off-the-wall films that were made in the old-fashioned way without computer aided digital effects, look up any and all films directed by Spanish surrealist Luis Bunuel. His only "plain Jane" movie has both English and Spanish productions and was a 1954 version of Robinson Crusoe. Most of his other films are originally in either French or Spanish.

1950 film "Los Olvidados" (The Forgotten Ones) released in the U.S. as "The Young and the Damned" was awarded Best Director at the Cannes film festival. There are many other films of his that will blow your mind--nothing mainstream.

I never ever thought That Luis Buñuel movies were in your sight,

I have every Bunuel film on DVD except for one. I was introduced to his work when taking a documentary film class at San Diego State University. The professor showed a supposed documentary film by Bunuel called Las Hurdes: Tierra Sin Pan or in English "Land Without Bread". Come to find out, the entire film was staged, it was a phony "documentary". Really clever idea.
