That's why mine still wears the straight-enamel paint put on in 1988. If too nice, it won't get driven. They can get filthy on the road. As far as comfort, I too have late model seats. From a fwd 88 Daytona found in a yard. Upside down. The Coronet rides like a cadillac compared to some choppy e-bodies I have ridden in. It feels great and comfy on the highway. I can't relate to being uncomfortable in the old car. Sound proofing keeps it somewhat quiet(er), and the ac is a must have. The 09 Challenger has 11,000 miles on it. I do at least 7k@yr in the Coronet.
