Two stage Paint color on couldn't get to the second clear part

If this under hood I would scuff, shoot a coat of base and get it cleared. Not the first time this has happened.
 
Heck, under the hood, I would probably just hit it with a grey Scotch Brite and go for it. Maybe red depending on the base.
 
Lots of people have and still just shoot the eng compartment jambs, trunk with good ole single stage. Why make it so complicated? lol
