Glad to say getting ripped off hasn't happened often; but when it does it stings like a bitch. I posted earlier about an outfit that sells all sorts of auto/truck stuff new and has a pristine appearing website. I sent in my payment via PP and then no delivery. After a couple weeks trying to get a reply...nada. After a more attempts more nada. I did what I shoulda before purchase...looking at reviews. Dozens of pissed people having been ripped off. PP refunded my money; but this POS outfit is still doing business! I'd think PP or CC would ban purchasing from the place...

I've had dealings with this guy... He's been know to buy garbage cars and parts and misrepresent them. And then when you go to look. Rush you while your looking. Guy shouldnt be in the hobby. I was lucky i was within driving distance to him. He was selling alot of stuff overseas at the time.

In Canada it is a Federal Offence to alter a serial number on a vehicle.
This is ILLEGAL here in the states also... I am worried the OP may lose the car and his money since who knows about the hardtop Vin Numbers....
