On the road with Cheech Marin

Or, at least, a Cheech lookalike. This photo was taken I think around 1997 on our way to the Mopar Nationals. Now I have never seen this photo before. My friend Tim (second from left) sent it to me today. That's me on the far left. I have never noticed how much my friend Bill looks like Cheech Marin of Cheech and Chong. Spitting image I would say.



And here is Cheech, probably about the same time.




Finally, same guys at the Mopar Nats in 2019. I'm not sure that time has been kind to us. On the other hand, we're all still alive. Been doing the Mopar thing together with these guys for 40 years.

Everyone has more hair except for the skinny guy.

I once convinced the majority of gambling cruise buffet passenger's that my boss was Cheech.

Funny thing is he's an Arab.

All I said was "hey is that Cheech Marin at the buffet table?' somewhat quietly but loud enough for a few tables to hear.

About a dozen people asked for an autograph.

We had a good laugh about that.
